Google Directions Adds Bikes
Google maps amazes me every year at least. First the aerials, then transit routes, later street view, and now bike routing. Now it's not perfect the ramps off the Hawthorne Bridge aren't available in streetview, but it puts a lot of information at your ready when you're planning a bike trip. Now they need to combine the transit activity with biking to get a fully multimodal operations. But why stop there, why not add a weather forecasting tool so you could avoid when it's going to rain so much that I will have to wring out my socks.
